D. João II, Lote 1.03.2.3. Parque das Nações. 1998-031 Lisboa), on the 20th June at 4pm.

International conference Social Now
|
On the 27th and 28th June MAISIS will take part on the international conference Social Now.
This conference counts with the presence of several representatives of tools focused on Enterprise 2.0., as well as international speakers specialized in Information Management.
Big players such as Microsoft, Oracle and Confluence, will take part on this event and will present their information management solutions.
MAISIS will present its knowledge management solution OOBIAN integrated with Sharepoint, combining OObian’s features of extraction and connection of unstructured information with Sharepoint’s features of document and business process management.

MAISIS helps the Portuguese Food Bank
|
Once again, MAISIS participated in the food raising campaign of the Portuguese Food Bank, during the 26th and 27th of November, coordinating a local supermarket with a team of volunteers.
The social concern helped raising more than 2950 tons of food all over the country. According to the president of the Food Bank Federation, Isabel Jonet, the amount of goods as well as the number of volunteers (more than 36 thousand) exceeded the expectations.

OOBIAN Release 1.5
|
OOBIAN – The Knowledge Management Tool – keeps evolving according to the defined roadmap. This way, the new release 1.5 was launched with a brand new set of functionalities, improving several features, as well introducing new abilities in order to enhance the navigation and management of the created knowledge.
From the new features we highlight the Profile Management, the Integration with external web search, Notification Management and Favorites.
With the new version we could upgrade the product TRIAL, which is available to everyone interested in this new release.

Workshop Alfresco
|
Alfresco has recently released the 4.0 version of its platform. This is considered the most important version until now, bringing a whole new set of features that boost the users’ interaction, as well as new potential for those who develop share systems using the Alfresco platform.
MAISIS has an Alfresco certified team that will be present in the Alfresco Workshop, to take place in Lisbon on the 16th of November. The main goal is to ensure the continuous improvement of our Alfresco competences, in order to provide the best service to our clients.

MAISIS takes part in the ISOFIN project
|
The ISOFIN project involves an ontological unification of the Finance domain – Banking and Insurance. This unification supports interoperability between the sub-domains and the sharing of "artifacts”, in terms of software and knowledge. The idea is to establish a set of the best practices, outline standards and regulations, in what the organizational interoperability and technological efficiency are concerned. The expected results of the project include defining a set of guidelines that will ensure the interoperability in the Finance field.

In its 9th edition since 2003, Rio Info is one of the main business events on the IT area in Brazil. Held annually in Rio de Janeiro, this event brings together businessmen, executives, academics and other professionals that seek new market and international business opportunities. |
The design company Bürocratik invited MAISIS to collaborate in the development and costumization of a wikipedia for its client UNILEVER. The solution to be developed will have Flash and Sharepoint support.
MAISIS will be responsible for the implementation of several components and web services of the Backoffice, supported in Sharepoint.

MARTIFER implements ECM/BPM Sharepoint
|
MARTIFER has selected Maisis to be its technological partner in the implementation of content management solutions within the platform Microsoft Sharepoint 2010.
The decision was based on our previous experience in the customization and implementation of collaborative processes in Sharepoint 2010.
Focusing on the areas "Construction Management", "Services" and "Martifer Construction", Maisis will develop activities such as process consulting, Sharepoint customization. implementation of templates and specific processes to each intervention area.
Martifer began operations in 1990, in the steel structures sector. Today is a multinational industrial group with more than 3,000 employes and activities focused on metallic construction and solar energy sectors.

Social Responsability - Food Bank

As a socially responsible organization, MAISIS promotes and participates in events aiming to stimulate social awareness.
In the context of Social Responsibility, MAISIS participated in the spring food raising campaign of the Portuguese Food Bank, during May 2011, coordinating a local supermarket with a team of volunteers.

GESTAMP implements ECM/BPM Alfresco

As a result of the consulting process in the Iberian market of ECM systems and BPM/document management solutions specialized consultants, GESTAMP has chosen MAISIS amongst other IT companies to be the new partner in this field.

MAISIS takes part in a mission to the nordic countries market
|
Between the 2nd and the 4th of February MAISIS was, for the first time, in a mission to the nordic countries market, supported by Portic Think-Tank for Portuguese Internationalization and Inova-Ria.
The visit to the Oreseund's region - Copenhagen/Denmark and Malmöe/Sweden- is extremely interesting for the internationalization of the company. This region is also known as the European Silicon Valley.
The mission was foreseen in QREN's project called "Internationalization of the TICE(electronics, communication and information technologies) sector 2011: life quality and education field", and aims to create new and more sophisticated opportunities for the TICE companies in the international market.
MAISIS goal was to create new business partnerships and technological development for its knowledge management product OObian.
This mission was carried in step with AICEP.
